Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about using our charging stations.

How do I start a charging session with a charging card?

At this charging station, you can start a charging session using a public charging card. Hold the card against the green LED on the charging station. The LED will turn yellow to authorize your card. Once your card is accepted, the LED will turn blue and the charging session will begin.

If the charging session is not accepted, the LED will turn red. In this case, contact your card issuer to check the current status of your card. You can also try a different card or use the QR code to start the charging session.

 


 

How do I stop a charging session with a charging card?

Hold your charging card against the card reader on the charging station. The LED indicator will change to green, indicating that the charging session has ended.

 


How do I start a charging session using the QR Code/Direct Payment?

Scan the QR code with your mobile phone. You will find the QR code on the inside of the socket flap or around the charging station. On the page that appears, you will see the charging station's rate and a unique PIN code. You will need this PIN to stop the charging session later. It is possible to change the PIN if needed.

Enter your email address and click 'Start Charging Session' to begin charging. You will receive an email with the details of your charging session and the PIN required to stop it. Please note, the email may end up in your spam folder.

 


How do I stop a charging session using the QR Code/Direct Payment?

Scan the QR code with your mobile phone. You will find the QR code on the inside of the socket flap or around the charging station. Enter the unique PIN to retrieve your charging session. You also received this PIN in the email.

Click "pay" and select a payment option such as iDeal, VISA, or Mastercard. After payment, your charging cable will be released, and you will receive the invoice via email.

 


What payment methods are available at this charging station?

We accept the following payment methods:

  • iDeal
  • MAESTRO
  • SoFort
  • My Bank
  • Mastercard
  • VISA
  • Bancontact

 


My cable is stuck in the charging station.

To disconnect the charging cable, the charging session must be completed and paid for.

 

If the charging session was started with a public charging card, follow these steps:

  1. Hold your charging card against the card reader on the charging station.
  2. The charging session will terminate again, allowing you to unlock the cable.

 

If the charging session was started using the QR code, follow these steps:

  1. Scan the QR code with your mobile phone. The QR code can be found at the bottom of the socket flap or around the charging station.
  2. Enter the unique PIN to retrieve the charging session. You also received this PIN in the email.
  3. Click "pay" and select a payment option such as iDeal, VISA, or Mastercard.
  4. After payment, your charging cable will be released, and you will receive the invoice via email.
  5. Remove your charging cable from the station.

My charging card is not recognized.

Check the status of your charging card with your card issuer. If the card is not active, you will not be able to start a charging session at this station. In that case, use the QR code to start a session.

 


 

The charging session does not start, even after successful card identification.

Check if the charging cable is properly connected to both the vehicle and the charging station.

For some electric vehicles, the car must be locked before a charging session can begin.

Check your vehicle's settings for charging profiles that may restrict charging.

Charging speed is slower than expected.

The charging speed can be affected by various factors such as the capacity of the charging station, power supply, and the number of simultaneous charging sessions. The charging speed will scale up as more power becomes available.
