Future-Proof and Scalable Charging Solution in Hoeksterend Parking Garage in Leeuwarden
The Hoeksterend parking garage in Leeuwarden is taking an important step towards sustainable mobility with the installation of 76 new charging stations. To celebrate this, electric vehicle drivers can charge their vehicles for free from September 25 to 30. Both parking and charging can be processed in a single transaction by Direct Payment, without the need for an external charging provider.
IP Charging: Innovative Collaboration
Thanks to the collaboration between IP Parking and BlueMarble, an integrated solution for both parking and charging has been developed. By linking our Parking Management System (PMS) with the Charge Point Management System of BlueMarble, operators can combine the management of charging and parking services into one user-friendly platform. This system offers maximum flexibility and control, such as the ability to adjust rates based on user profiles, delivering a seamless and efficient experience for the end user.
This solution highlights how efficient and simple electric charging and parking can be, while also enabling municipalities to prepare for the future growth of electric transport.
Prepared for the Future
The parking garage is not only equipped with 76 OSTRA charging stations but is also prepared for an expansion up to 352 charging points. This scalability is made possible by innovative Load Balancing Enterprise software. This system efficiently distributes the available power capacity across all current and future charging points within one integrated platform. By utilizing smart charging controllers and taking into account both the main connection and the distribution boards, the solution ensures optimal local load balancing. This allows the number of charging points to increase without overloading the network.
